Far from Thailand, our founders missed the warmth of family meals and the comfort of sharing food made with love. So, they began to cook — just as they did back home — and soon, a dream took shape. What started as a small kitchen filled with memories became a place where everyone can taste the heart of Thailand. Each dish we serve carries the flavors of tradition and the joy of connection, reminding us of a simple truth:

Our head chef’s journey began many years ago in Thailand, where the love for cooking was passed down through family tradition. Growing up surrounded by the aroma of herbs and the rhythm of the wok, cooking became more than a skill — it became a way of life.
After years of perfecting authentic Thai recipes and learning the delicate balance of flavors, our chef brought that passion to Switzerland. At Muang Thai, every dish reflects years of dedication, patience, and heart — blending experience with a deep love for sharing the true taste of Thailand.
